Athletes need to feel confident to explode across the circle- The LaunchPad will aid them in feeling this speed as they begin the gliding style throw. This aid will allow them to concentrate on footwork, and staying in a closed position as they move into the poser position.
The LaunchPad is designed to create a 6.3 degree tilt upon the throwers starting position in the ring. This subtle but effective change places throwers into a more favorable starting position.
The LaunchPad allows athletes not only to "feel" these key components first hand, by placing them into a more favorable physical position, they are able to perform more throws correctly with less effort or strength in one practice session.
