Some of the most dangerous events in track and field are the throwing events… But the safety of the athlete performing isn’t the issue! The spectators must be clearly informed of the safe boundary for observing the event. The newly created “PigTail” is just what the meet manager ordered! We here at the University level purchased 400 of these stakes for our cross country and track facility needs– We first used our stakes to protect these throwing sectors, and not only kept people safe, but added a beautiful visual to our venue.

We’ve been in production of the LaunchPad training aid for nearly 8 years now! This product has a 100% durability rating, as in all these years (nearly 300 units sold)- NOT ONE LaunchPad ramp has failed, been damaged, broken down, or in need of replacement. I still have one original ramp here at Malone College, manufactured nearly 10 years ago. I’ve purposely left it out in the heat of summer, and harsh cold of winter. The top is still solidly connected, the only thing I’ve done to it is replaced the spikes! This product is definitely worth the cost- You’ll NEVER have to replace it! You can’t say that about many other pieces of equipment in your shed.
